In April Clearly Contacts was having this deal where you got your first pair of glasses free, you only had to pay the shipping. So for around $15 I could get a whole new pair of glasses! I needed my eyes tested anyhow, so I called to make an appointment with my optometrist, but only day they could see me was the last day the deal was on. So by the time I got around to ordering them, it was late and I was quite tired. Anyone who doesn't need glasses might not have ever seen the prescription sheet they give you, but it's pretty cryptic looking...
My pink heart glasses came only a few days later, and I couldn't open the box fast enough. I put them on and...ugh. Everything was mega blurry and off quilter, they felt like drunk goggles. I staggered and stumbled to the bathroom to see what they looked like and hit everything on the way there. When I closed one eye though, they were great! So it turns out, I entered my prescription wrong in the left eye.
I emailed Clearly Contacts not expecting much since it was my own darn fault, but I was pleasantly surprised. They sent me a shipping label to sent back the wrong pair, and sent me the right pair in another couple days, free of charge. Despite my error, their customer service was FABULOUS! So maybe ordering your glasses online has some kinks, but they've got them all worked out I'd say. No more fashionably drunk glasses for me!

Ugly happy
I will argue that there is a level of smiling and being happy that is so extreme that it should never be photographed. We've all been there. "I think I'm smiling TOO MUCH" It's great to capture the moment, such as this photo at Easter when I found a gift Aleisha hid for me, but it's by no means my favourite shot of myself. I'm just too happy. Some people just don't get as excited about trivial things as I do, and although they have no threat of having a shot that's ugly happy, I might also argue they have less fun. But do keep this in mind when someone says, "smile!" for the next picture. Shots like this one can't be undone.

Toilet paper flipper
Everybody has their idiosyncratic tendencies, and I'm told they only amplify as you get older. One of mine is flipping the toilet paper roll around so it's the right way. Lets just be clear that is in fact a right way:
and a wrong way:

Yes that is the toilet paper dispenser in my bathroom because when I tried to describe the difference I sounded insane, and everyone loves pictures. So notice in the second example the paper gets stuck to the wall and is increasingly harder to grab onto? I can't express enough that in some scenarios it's more complicated and difficult, where rolling the toilet paper roll just to get some is necessary. All this explanation is of course to justify the fact that I don't just change the toilet paper roll around at my house, I do it everywhere. I am in every essence of my made up expression, a toilet paper flipper. I can't help but notice it. And now you will too. You're welcome :)

Wet sneeze
Most people who know me well, are ridiculously aware of my sneezing fits. Since I sneeze 3-12 times in one go, you might consider me an expert on it. For work I serve customers and at times work with food, it's somewhat inconvenient to sneeze as much as I do. Some sneezes are a simple "ha-choo" - no harm done. But others explode from your nose and mouth in a flurry of snot and drool "HA-kjadshfkjdsahfsdkf" and in horror I realize I've covered myself, and everything close to me. It's hard to come back from this, let me tell you. On the brightside, I've started to learn to tell them apart in the 'about to sneeze' faze, so for the latter I have time to throw on the hazzmat suite, or at least get to a washroom. I'm sure this happens to everyone at least once, eventually...so if you're shaking your head right now, beware! This picture grosses me out, but it demonstrates my point perfectly.

Tic Tac Calories
On the back of Tic Tac containers it lists the calories as 2 per Tic Tac. I disagree with the whole idea, because I've never met anyone who could eat one single Tic Tac. I eat one, and then another, and then two at a time, and next thing I know I'm shaking that stupid little plastic container and nothing comes out. I think they should list the Tic Tac calories PER BOX. That's more realistic.
